Window

Inspection window is 30 calendar days from receipt of the unit at the agreed delivery address. Notify us in writing within that window if there is an issue.

What qualifies for a return

  • Wrong model received vs. ordered.
  • Unit serial does not match the one provided in the quote.
  • Manufacturing defect verified by bench testing.
  • Visible damage from carrier handling (photographs at receipt required).

What does not qualify

  • Buyer's change of specification after acceptance of the quote.
  • Custom or special-order parts not stocked in our catalog.
  • Units installed, energised, or otherwise put into service.
  • Cosmetic differences within manufacturer tolerance.

Process

  1. Email peggy@kernal-automation.com with the order number, photos, and a short description of the issue.
  2. We review within 2 working days and issue a Return Authorisation if the case qualifies.
  3. Ship the unit back per the RA instructions. Return shipping is at our cost when the issue is on us.
  4. On receipt and verification, we issue a full refund or a replacement (your choice) within 7 working days.

Pre-dispatch verification

Every unit is photographed, serial-verified, and (for Altivar drives and Modicon PLCs) bench-tested before leaving the warehouse. The pre-dispatch record accompanies the order email — keep it; it is your reference if anything goes wrong in transit.
